Spell Creation

To conjure a new spell, you will require a battle potion and a touch of magical energy. However, this is not the extent of the process! The true potency of a spell is unlocked through its interaction with relics — those crystalline elements that you discover during battles and within the labyrinths.

Envision this: you take a healing potion and bind its essence within the embrace of a forest crystal. What will emerge? One of the forest healing spells! Yet, be prepared for unforeseen outcomes — you can never be entirely certain precisely what form the unleashed magic will take!

Spell characteristics

Furthermore, the characteristics of each spell — including its mana cost and potency (whether it be the damage it inflicts or the amount of health it restores) — are also determined randomly.

Within the realm of Arcanum World, over 60 distinct spells await discovery, each capable of dramatically shifting the momentum of any encounter. Engage in experimentation with various combinations of potions and relics to unlock novel magical forces and ascend to the esteemed rank of a true spell master!

Spell Dissolution

Even the most seasoned mages may occasionally encounter challenges when conjuring spells. If fortune does not favor you, and a created spell proves too demanding in mana or its potency falls short of your expectations, do not despair! Within Arcanum World, you have the option to dissolve such a spell and reclaim a portion of the relics invested in its creation.

Upon initiating spell dissolution, you will recover a quantity of the relics originally utilized in its crafting. This provides you with the opportunity to attempt the creation of a new spell with more desirable attributes.

Important Note: A spell cannot be dissolved if it is currently integrated into one of your active Battle Schemes. You must first remove it from all active schemes before you can utilize the spell dissolution feature.
